BSI currently has an opening for an Windows Desktop Administrator I in our Technology Park, Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters.
The Windows Desktop Administrator I will provide Operations Team support on the Windows desktop platform while assisting to resolve complex break/fix desktop software and hardware issues. Perform under general direction from the Senior Director, IT Services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Trade Degree, or equivalent experience. 2+ years’ experience in an environment working in Desktop Support, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work the time necessary to support the emergency responses needed to correct system failures.
- Ability to work both independently and with minimum supervision while functioning as a team member.
- Ability to stay on top of new technologies as they emerge and impact our business.
- Good written and oral communications skills, to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder to place and retrieve items on and from rack shelves.
- Share participation with other team members in providing rotating on-call after-hour coverage on an ‘as needed’ basis.
- Must be available to work on-site a minimum of three days a week with a potential for additional on-site attendance, as needed. The work schedule provides Operations Team coverage during BSI’s 7:30AM – 6:30PM operating hours.
- A+ or MCP certification a plus.
