BSI currently has an opening for an Manager, Research and Development in our Technology Park, Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters.
The Manager, Research and Development Is responsible for the software development activities of requirements gathering, coding, testing, releasing and maintenance according to business needs.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 6 years project management and/or lead experience.
- Other Undergraduate degree with minimum 8 years project management and/or lead experience
- No degree – software development professional with minimum of 10 years project management and/or lead experience
- Minimum of 7 years designing and/or coding commercial software
- Minimum 7 years of experience building fullstack applications using Java and Spring and other JEE technologies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building highly secure, high volume and scalable web applications using Java, Spring, JPA, REST APIs, SOAP, Microservices, Swagger, React, NodeJS, JavaScript, SQL, and Bootstrap.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in deploying applications to AWS using Docker, EKS and CI/CD using Jenkins.
- Knowledge and experience in Salesforce development, Workday, SAP, MuleSoft and Redis is a plus.
- This position is subject to a background check.
- Strong knowledge of relational database and web-based applications
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and processes
- Highly motivated with proven leadership skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
