Job Title: Product Architect

Department: IT

Description: The Product Architect is responsible for the creation of funtional documentation derived from business requirements and specifications that can be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.  This person will then provide sample test plans and files from this documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Propose and evaluate proposed changes to our software. 
  • Provide written specifications to development personnel.
  • Respond to questions about proposed changes.
  • Provide data and schema changes.
  • Provide test plans, sample test files, and perform some testing.
  • Provide documentation suitable to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Perform duties under general directions from the Department Manager.
  • Define and create functional documents by translating business requirements into specifications.
  • Structured Query Language.
  • Analyze existing software for impact of desired enhancements.
  • Create and execute unit test plans.
  • Assist in development/maintenance of software specifications utilizing design constructs and standards.
  • Interact with business analysts and marketing to understand business requirements and translate these into technical designs.
  • Interact with production support personnel to ensure that critical and major production issues are resolved in a timely manner. Creating detailed test plans including test cases, UNIX and automated scripts, and data. Executing test cases and evaluating the results.
  • Provide technical support and take technical direction from project lead. 

Qualifications: 

  • BS in computer science or equivalent preferred
  • Understands OO principles.
  • Structured Query Language with Java, Oracle, SOAP, XML a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Experience with financial, accounting and/or HR applications is a plus.

Job Title: Application Specialist, Tier 1 Support

Department: Support

Description: Determining and/or resolving customer issues at the application level.  

Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with other support personnel to determine the nature of the application issues.
  • Implement remedial procedures for the customer as necessary.
  • Participate in testing Regulatory, Cyclic and Release Bulletins.

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in IS or Business Administration OR other undergraduate degree with 1 or more years experience in relevant Help Desk experience OR 5 years Payroll/Tax Help Desk experience.
