Job Title: QA Specialist

Department: Customer Support

Description: Performs complex functional, application, regression and performance tests. Performs technical quality assurance / testing of applications developed or maintained at BSI. Performing complex testing of new products, product features, enhancements and bug fixes.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree – IS major preferred. 3 - 5 years Quality Assurance testing experience. Proficient in the use of Industry-recognized testing tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Title: Manager, Payroll Compliance Specialists

Department: Payroll Compliance Application Specialists

Description: Performs duties under general directions from Director, Customer Support Services. Supervises 2 or more payroll compliance application specialists in carrying out responsibilities for payroll preparation and production in a test environment including but not limited to: maintaining related records, preparing tax reports and payments, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, prepares special reports for senior management.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or related field. 10-15 years of recent and relevant work experience (Payroll/Tax). 10 -15 years of experience supervising/managing a payroll department. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP a must; Lawson, Oracle or other major in-house payroll systems a plus.

Job Title: Manager, Payroll Tax Compliance

Department: Payroll Tax Compliance

Description: Audit, confirm and balance all payrolls. Review and approve documentation prepared by staff related to payroll processing. Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance as related to company products. SAS70 compliance of BSI products. Research tax regulations and law to keep company products in compliance. Test the accuracy of  company products in lieu of changes to various in-house payroll systems and/or tax authority regulations and law. Serve as liaison with IRS and other tax authorities. Develop department objectives. Maintain documented procedures for department positions. Maintain and oversee a highly trained staff. Strong relationship management skills; a skillful team player with the ability to network effectively up, down and across the business. Excellent communication skills. Facilitate and coach staff for talent development, personal leadership and team effectiveness and provide accurate and candid feedback. Support organization design, development and change management focused on  implementation of business strategy. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple goals.

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 5 – 10 years experience managing large payroll or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lawson or SAP experience a plus. Canada payroll experience a plus. Advanced knowledge of FLSA, Federal/State/Local payroll laws/regulations.
